Is the call translation two-way, meaning the other person can call me back on the device?

No. Through our technology partners, the Vasco Translator Q1 supports outgoing calls only, which means the recipient cannot call your device back directly. However, the call translator does provide full two-way, real-time phone call translation during the conversation—both you and your recipient will hear everything in your respective languages.

Can I receive calls using the phone call translator, or can I only make calls? 

The Vasco Translator Q1 is designed specifically for initiating calls. While you can use the live call translator for any outgoing conversation, receiving incoming calls is not currently supported.

Why is my number or name not shown on the recipient’s phone when calling from Q1 with the call translator?

When you make a call using the phone translator, your private number remains hidden. Instead, our technology partners display a dedicated Vasco number on the recipient's screen. This ensures an extra layer of security and privacy, keeping your personal information safe.
